Even in this time of crisis, it is imperative that the stalwarts of research continue producing new and usable information that can help push forward the interventions needed to solve the everyday problems in Medicine. For the Philippine General Hospital, Acta Medica Philippina is one of the major venues for this. We are fortunate to have a platform where culled experiences and wisdom are immortalized on paper so that future generations may learn from them. The commitment of PGH to research in the last few years has propped publication rate from 8 % to almost 30% of the completed works annually. It has also opened the doors for our staff to international presentations. In return, the world is discovering more about the research works in PGH which will hopefully contribute to the global fund of knowledge.

PGH will continue to support the endeavors of our researchers and the Acta Medica Philippina.
